Our Snug
Our Snug is a warm, welcoming space designed to give children and their families the opportunity to spend meaningful, quality time together away from the hustle and bustle of the main house. It provides a calm and comfortable environment where relationships can be nurtured and positive memories created.
The Snug is also used for one to-one activities, offering children and young people a quieter setting when they need a break from others. Activities such as art, cooking, and watching movies can take place here, helping to support relaxation, creativity, play therapy and emotional wellbeing.
In addition, the Snug is an important space for key working sessions, allowing staff and young people to talk openly in a private and supportive environment. It is also used for homework time, giving children a focused area where they can concentrate and receive support with their learning.
For staff, the Snug serves as a versatile space for team meetings and training days, promoting collaboration and professional development.
